2011 seems to be getting off to a great start lets hope it continues

resolution...ish!

Riley has decided he is determined to loose weight this year, so in order to get him to actually do it I have to be a part of it and for all of you who know me I DO NOT DIET at all i cant give up my oreos and milk everynight or my taco bell or my sodas so this is going to be a challenge for us. So we decided last night that we are going to do a monthly goal to loose so many pounds a month and there will be a prize so for January Rileys goal is to loose 5 lbs by the end of January and mine is to loose 3 lbs by the end of January and the prize is a $20 gift of their choice so hopefully it will work. Riley has been doing good so far by only eating fruit and veggies during the day and working out on his lunch breaks and then having a healthy meal for dinner like chicken or fish, also im going to have a start going to the gym every night to help get in shape and last night we went to the Zumba class and can i just say "HOLY ZUMBA" hardest thing in my life after not working out since before I was pregnant with Anna, and we only made it 30 min into the class before we were about to die! so hopefully this will work for us and Riley will feel better about himself!!

the new year..

Well I have done well limiting Anna's bottles to only during bed time and the sippy or cup the rest of the day.. I am not considering potty training I have heard tons of pros and cons about potty training this early such as its too early they will get sick and fall behind and then i have know several people that have potty trained this early and have been successful. So who knows i will try it for a while and if it seems to be working its a go, I just know it will be pretty easy cause everytime she is pooping it is easy to know and she goes on a timely matter I have noticed so i really think it will be pretty easy!!

tis the season

HOLIDAYS, HOLIDAYS, HOLIDAYS.... and Merry Christmas!

These holidays have been so stressful this year, I almost wish Santa
was real being a Mom you get to take the roll of Santa and let
me tell youI only have one kid and it was stressful enough.
Waiting to get paid then having to budget the money to pay bills,
buy food, gas, buy food and gifts for family parties, buy holiday
decorations, buy wrapping paper and tape and still have to have

enough money to buy presents for our little one year old and
each other. Mind you Anna did make a haul receiving toys from
everyone (including us) She got tons of play food and little
people toys and she got her very own kitty (yes it is mechanical)
but she loves it very much! Riley got a flip mino HD video Camera
which he loves (so expect lots of videos) Me I got a purse
that I really wanted (and much needed) also a pearl necklace
and matching earrings. So all in all we did good this Christmas Holiday.

Parties and such:
on December 18 we had Grandma Woodcox's party which was fun to get together with the whole family, we ate pizza and played some fun games then went to a live nativity in Fountain Green.


December 19 was the Creps Family party it was fun as well we took family pictures that day and ate dinner and played games.

December 24 Christmas Eve we went sledding and it was so fun Anna didn't like it though then we went up to my parents house in Heber and had Christmas Eve with them and ate dinner and played games and opened presents and mind you we were up there till midnight and all four grandchildren were still awake when we all left so just imagine 4 kids running around screaming at midnight... OH MAN!!

December 25 Christmas... we did NOTHING, besides open presents and ate ALL DAY!! (it was nice and relaxing)

Now we are planning for a big NEW YEARS PARTY at our house and we are so excited we cant wait. Anna is going to spend the night at Grandma and Grandpa Creps house and we will get to enjoy a night with long time friends. So we hope you can all make it!!

oh the holidays...

what a great time of year spending the days with friends and family.
This year we are so excited for Christmas because Anna can actually open her own presents and enjoy them.
I am also very proud of myself because I have had all the presents wrapped and under the tree for over a week now... it really does make life easier!

Growing up my family didn't really have any traditions and Riley cant tell me whether his did or not so we need some help from those of you who follow our blog...

WE NEED TRADITIONS  that we can start now... so please share the love and let us know some of yours (and if you don't have any google them :D )

Well for our wedding we got lots of money and decided to buy a really nice camera that will last us for years and so recently Riley has found an awesome feature on our camera and now he loves taking pictures and is really good at it!

Well

we put
our Christmas
Tree up a little early
this year because we don't
want to be known as the grinch

of the family so on November 1, 2010
FM 100.3 started playing Christmas music
and yes we were right along with it listening
to it all day then on November 15, the day i went into
surgery (riley wouldn't tell me no that day) we put up our
Christmas tree and all the decorations and I got alot of criticisms
for it but who care what other people think its what i wanted!! Then
for Thanksgiving we went out to California to visit Rileys grandma (first
time Anna or I have ever met her) it was so fun meet all the family and hanging
out with everybody! We also went and visited the Redwoods and fern canyon and
of course the beach!! And now its December OH WHAT A MONTH full of parties,
presents, lights and so much more!! I am just so excited this year for Christmas and
getting

together

with everyone

and just the

whole Christmas

experience!!

so if anyone wants to share the Christmas spirit I am so ready!!
