Disneyland 2013

ok sorry but i need to catch up a bit... ha ha so i will have posts from some important memories through out the year!!

So to start will be our trip to Disneyland in September.

It was an amazing trip we went with just the 4 of us and then Grandma Susan and Grandpa Bill and Kate flew in for a couple days to join us. We were gone from the September 27 through October 2 and did a 4 day Disneyland pass.

Friday- We left super early in the morning because we drove and wanted to make the trip easy, but when we go to Vegas and realized we were going to arrive in Anaheim about 4 hours before we could even check in we decided we should take a detour up to Bakersfield and visit with my grandparents for a bit. It was really nice to visit with them since they never met Brad before then. We stayed for only about 3 hours and it was nice to get out of the car for a while and let the kids run around. We left there house around 5:00p.m. and realized we were going to be driving through downtown LA during rush hour on a Friday night. We were really nervous about it but we got super lucky and didnt hit any worse traffic then what there normally would be! We reached our hotel about 8:30 that night and man were we happy to go to bed and get out of the car.

Here is a picture of the kids with my Grandparents, their Great Grandparents

Saturday- We got up early and headed to Disneyland. Now Disneyland added this amazing land called "fantasy faire" It was every little girls dream it was nothing but princesses and play and princess shops. They had one area where you waited in a line and then once you got inside the "princesses area" you were able to meet 3 princess with one on one time. It was AMAZING!! we were able to see Ariel, Cinderella, and Aurora. Then they have a theater and do two different kind of play they do Rapunzel and Beauty and the beast and they do just little plays and then you can visit with the princess afterwards... We were able to see Rapunzels play and both kids loved it. We also watched the "soundsational parade" (we saw it 3 different times while we were there). We also just spent a lot of time visiting with Characters and riding small rides.

Anna got to see Belle mind you we had to wait in the
hot sun for about 45 mins eating our lunch in line so we could
be the very first to see her but it was so worth it. Anna just
couldn't stop screaming she was so excited!!

Buzz lightyear ride!! Brad loved it

Anna wanted a picture with the Pink Castle

so back story Merida could only be out for like 20 min
then she would go back to get a drink and cool off
well we were the last ones to see her and she held annas
hand and anna got to walk with her all the way to were she
get a drink. it was so amazing!! definitely something
we will never forget!!

Riley also had to leave me early that night so he could go pick up Susan, Bill and Kate from the airport but one thing we didn't realize is he took the hotel keys and left me to get on the bus to the hotel with both kids a stroller and all the stuff. It was great!!

Sunday- We were able to take Anna on big ride because we were switching off with Brad between susan and bill. So we spent the day riding big rides, eating, seeing characters and then watched the fireworks.

Monday- we went over to California Adventures. once again we rode the rides and watched shows. We were able to get a fast pass for the the new Cars ride. Anna and Kate loved it and were able to ride it twice. We tried to watch the World of Color with them but it was supper crowded and people kept standing up and putting kids on there shoulders and made it really impossible to see it at all, next time we go we decided we will get a fast pass for that.

Tuesday- our last day. Riley also had to take them back to the airport so they could go home. while he was gone i got up with the kids and got ready for the day. We went back to Disneyland and saw Characters that we had missed and rode rides we weren't able to get on when it was busy and just had a really relaxed day it was super nice and 4 days was perfect for us. We did decide its not worth it to do a park Hopper and just do one park a day pass because with two kids and all there junk you really don't want to travel between parks.

Iron Man suits.. Riley was in heaven

Beauty and The beast at the Lego store

Now I saw this awesome idea to get a picture matte signed
It was the best idea ever. We got our matte at Hobby Lobby for $3.00
and the picture inside is a 5x7 and the outside is am 11x14

Wednesday- we got up and headed home. we got caught in traffic but made it home eventually!!

It was an amazing trip and we are planning to do a disney trip ever other year and hit different seasons.
later will be a post about the tips i learned and used on our trip.

Bear lake 2014

We made it through Riley's first semester up at the University of Utah... We made it through only seeing him 10 hours a week... And we loved every second of Christmas break with him.

Riley and I both decided that after each semester during the break we are going to go on some kind of vacation and since we bought a timeshare it makes it very easy!!

This time we decided to go to bear lake because it was so close (only 3 hours away) and we figured no one would really be there since its winter time.

We asked us good friends Jordan and allessandra to watch her kids and they were plenty happy to spend the weekend at our house playing with the kids.

So Friday afternoon came and they arrived we briefed them on the kids and all that they entail and then we were on our way. We made a brief stop in Ogden at the "movie grille" ( it's a movie theater that also serves you dinner.. It was amazing and we totally wish it was closer ) we saw delivery man and thought it was a very good movie and would love to see it again. Then we made our journey north.

We reached Logan and it started to snow... Now back story we had been watching the weather for the whole before to make sure it wasn't going to snow well then on Wednesday it said that there was only a 10% chance of snow. Anyways we braved it and headed through Logan canyon about half way through it started to blizzard and we were scared for our lives we were only doing maybe 10-15 mph. But we made it and man were we happy to get out of the car.

And to sum up the weekend of relaxation we went to the hot tub twice, watched "jobs" and "Julie and Julia" drove around the lake and got out at a couple different spots. Ate at an awesome pizza joint, made Chinese food and got close to 10 hours of sleep both nights..

It was definitely a weekend we won't forget and we loved every minute of it..

(Pictures soon to come)

2014 in with a BANG!!

We love making New Years Resolutions or in our house "Goals".

Anna this year learned about them in her primary class and they were asked to draw a picture of what they were going to do for their goals. She was so excited because we have been talking about them for the last couple of days so she knew exactly what she was going to draw. It made me so happy that she remembered what we were talking about and even understood what we talked about.

Riley and I love to set new year resolutions just to see if we can push ourselves farther.

So here is an inside of some of our resolutions.
Anna: clean her room every night before bed and to make her bed every day
Bradley: we are hoping to have him potty trained by the end of the year and to move him out of a crib.
Riley: No soda and to be spend more time with the kids when he is home!!
Me: cook more home made meals and to be a better mom!!

hopefully getting these resolutions out there to our friends and family with make it so that we have to follow through with them!!

I hope you all have a great year and can keep your resolutions!!

2013 for the Creps Family

Well 2013 had its ups and downs but we made it through. We are ready for 2014 and all that it will bring, but I wanted to share a tid bit of our last year!!

We moved out of Provo June 1st (can you believe we haven't lived in Provo for 6 months... crazy i know)
we lived with my brother for 2 months and we ALL survived!
We bought our first place and moved in the end of July ( our condo in Eagle Mountain.. and we LOVE it out here)
Also a condo is very perfect for us right now with Riley crazy busy and NO LAWN :D
Bradley turned 1.. he is a big boy now, he is walking and talking and is the silliest little terror ever!
Anna turned 4.. she became a sunbeam. No more nursery!! she also had her first of three years of preschool and loved every minute of it.. she is such and independent little girl.
Riley started up at the University of Utah in August and is never home.. but we know it will all be worth it.
I got my dream job in June working as a Wedding Hostess at Millennial Falls in Draper. Its an amazing job and I love it!!

This year we had several friends get married and we were able to attend their beautiful weddings
Shaleigh & Todd - March
Britania & Max-March
Cindy & Dan- May
Allessandra & Jordan - June
Katie & Dillion- October

It has been so fun seeing these couples find each other and the joy and excitement as they discover marriage and all that comes with it!! We are still great friends with all of them and know that they will be lasting friendships.

We also had an amazing family vacation where we went to Disneyland as a family and spent 4 days there and loved it.. we hope to be able to go as much as we can and try to hit every season at Disneyland!!

It has been a great year overall for our Family and I cant wait to see my family grow. We have missed having Riley around all the time but he is doing great in school and is so excited about his field that we just cant wait for 5 years to come and he can get his dream job. I cant wait to see the little man that Bradley is going to become and the joy and laughter that he will bring to us. Anna is becoming so smart that on a daily basis she amazes us and we are so excited for her and what she is going to do with her life. We love our new neighborhood and are so excited to make new friends, it has been hard as some of our old friends fade out and have nothing in common we have struggled not having very many friends. but we are up for the challenge to make it work out here and join in the neighborhood festivities.

Thank you all for making this year a great one and we hope to have many more adventures in the new year!!
