royal wedding

Well I guess since Im going into the Wedding business I should make a comment about the biggest wedding in history (in america). No I did not get up at 4:00 a.m. to watch it mostly because I am a mom and that is TOO early for me, plus I knew it was going to be the main topic on every news channel and talk show host for the next week so there really was no need to get up at 4:00 a.m. yes her dress was gorgeous as well as her flowers and everything else (but who wouldn't expect that come from the ROYAL FAMILY!  My hardest aspect about this wedding is that it is larger in AMERICA then it is in london which is really sad that, that is what America is all about! I have talked to some friends out in London who say they didn't really hear about the Royal wedding or really care about it until this week and this makes me happy for one main reason, that Miss Kate was able to plan and fullfil her wedding day dreams with out the craziness of people distrupting her and bothering her with plans and designers and such (besides the American reporters)! So yes it was a beautiful wedding and most women would dream of this wedding but yes she is now a princess did you really expect any less!

Also there is one other thing that I have a problem with is that if you ever notice when they show the queen she doesn't have a heard of security guards circling her, yes im sure there is tight security but man these royals have it figured out.  I mean everytime you see our President he has a circle of security around him even when he is in a crowd, now the queen you never really see her security even when she is shaking hands and waving in the crowd (now i wonder is this the crafty ness of the camera man or are the Brits not out to KILL THEIR QUEEN???) just some things to think about

Well I hope later in my wedding planning career I can for sure plan a wedding almost as emaculant as the ROYAL WEDDING

Bahamas

Well we went to the Bahamas April 10-15 it was so fun, we are hooked on Cruising now and already planning our next one! So for our Bahamas cruise we went with my parents and left Anna at home with our close friend (her NICU nurse)! We flew out to Orlando which was the first time flying for Riley and he loved it and we spend a total of 11 hours in the Orlando Airport which I was greatful that it was that Airport because it is HUGE it has every kind of Restaurant and store you could image as well as an atrium and a Hyatt Hotel so we were greatful cause we did not get bored in that airport. Our cruise was only 5 days cause we didn't want to be away from Anna that long! I got sick the first night on the cruise but it was super nice because they gave out FREE sea sick pills that didn't make you sleepy. We made two stops one at Coco Cay (Royal Caribbean owns the island) and then at Nassau which is a big city in the Bahamas! it was so fun and we cant wait to go on another one!!

Nerves

Well my nerves have got the best of me today that is why im up at 7:30 a.m. blogging instead of in bed so I guess I wont be sleeping for a couple of nights. We are getting so excited for our cruise and I feel like Im more nervous for Riley to fly for the first time then he is but he is not very good about showing his weak side but I know he is getting nervous. Riley and I are all packed and ready to go we just need to get Miss Anna packed to spend a week in Heber with Lisa and Susan. So all you followers up in Heber keep an eye out for a super cute baby cause you might just see her :D. We are sad to leave Anna and worry that she will probably be mad at us when we get back for leaving her that long because that is how she is but we are excited fo our time away from her. So for our cruise we just cant wait it is only 2 days away today we are just going to relax and make sure we have what we want and let Riley spend some time with Anna since he has been working a lot lately and then torrow is kind of a busy day we have a disney store activity in the mornign that we are doing with Anna and the cousins and then we have our pedicure appointments and then the wards scout auction and then sunday is here and we leave!! On our cruise we make 2 stops in the Bahamas one at Coco Cay which is a really small Island and then one  at Nassau which is known as Paradise Island, we have been checking the weather to make sure things will be nice and its suppose to be 90 degrees and sunny the whole time ah and there will be NO SNOW!!

Well hope you all have a good time while we are gone, cause we know we will be having the time of our life.

Sweetheart Bridal

So my Sister in law Shelley has been waiting to take over Sweetheart Bridal (the one behind Papa Johns on Bulldog) anyways she has started taking it over, which is very exciting to me because once she moves her location (no i dont know when) I am hopefully going to go in with her with my Wedding Planning business and we will just be an awesome one stop wedding store with rentals and vendors and everything (kind of like the Emporium, but cooler cause you all know us ) So what everyone needs to do is "like" Sweetheart Bridal on facebook and then "Follow" their blog (also not to mention she is hopefully getting PROM dresses, but don't tell anyone i said that cause its a secret) So all you lovely ladies getting married or being bridesmaids or going to a dance go check out Sweetheart Bridal (and yes their store is small right now but the more support it gets now the better it will become)

EASTER BUNNY!!

Oh we are so excited for Easter this year, we can actually do stuff. So we are planning on hitting all the fun Easter Egg hunts and then doin one ourselves and Im sure my family will do one cause they always do. We are also very excited to color eggs it has been forever since we colored eggs. And I got Anna the cutest Easter dress (as you can see in the header picture). I guess this means its time to start practicing finding eggs. :D

March April... 2011

So an awesome year so far. We have booked a cruise to go to the Bahamas April 10-15, we are so excited because we have never been on a cruise and Riley has never flown, so it will be an awesome experience. We both bought brand new swimsuits, new luggage and have been tanning in preparation for our cruise. Then In July we are hopefully going to Alaska for my Brothers Wedding we are super excited for him. Then comes September Anna's 2nd Birthday and Disneyland time with the whole family. We have also been collecting birthday presents for her already so everytime we go to the Disney store and they have a sale on something we buy it and put it away  for her birthday, that way its a whole disney theme for her birthday! Then October we are going to try to go to New York for my Birthday and to see if we could handle living there (cause that is my dream city for being a wedding planner).
so that is the many of our vacations this year.

Also this year I am working on another wedding to help me graduate this makes number 3 for me and im super excited about this wedding cause she doesn't know much, so I feel like an expert!
