This Christmas we wanted to start doing traditions so i came up with a list of things to do for a "month of Christmas" so the activities would start on November 25 and go till Christmas. Now this year we didn't get to do everything on the list because of weather, riley going on vacation and different parties. but here is my list in no specific order
1. make Christmas ornaments
2. participate in an angel tree
3. movie night
4. cookie decorating party
5. family pictures (in christmas clothes)
6. temple square
7. festival of trees
8. decorate gingerbread houses/ trees
9. decorate our Christmas tree
10. go shopping for our yearly ornaments
11. Christmas parties (family & friend)
12.open new jammies
13. special Christmas breakfast
14. get a new family game and then play it on Christmas
15. read Christmas books
16. Do a Christmas count down
17. write santa a letter and deliver (then pictures)
18. festival of lights
19. go ice skating
20. make neighbor gifts and deliver
21. go through old toys
22. build a snowman
23. draw names for gift exchange (in family)
24. go sledding
25. read the nativity
26. make Christmas decorations
27-30. movie nights and parties
This year we did participate is quite a few of these and it was so fun and Anna loved doing it. In the next post There will be pictures
